Two Shimane Prefecture Companies to Participate in a Joint Environmental Exhibition in Thailand
Entech Pollutech ASIA 2024
The Shimane Industrial Promotion Foundation and Overseas Expansion Support Office of Shimane Prefectural Government are scheduled to host a Shimane Prefecture booth at Entech Pollutech ASIA 2024. The event will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, July 3 through July 5, 2024. Two companies from Shimane Prefecture will participate, promoting their products to business people in the Thailand and ASEAN markets.
Exhibitors and Products
- Functional Paint AMI COAT (Matsue Paint Co., Ltd.)
AMI COAT is an exterior wall paint used as a primer and topcoat, meaning only one coat of paint is necessary, rather than the traditional three-coat application. AMI COAT is also environmentally friendly and offers high cost performance due to superior heat reflection and durability.
- Organic Waste Volume Reduction System MISHIMAX (MIKUNIYA Corporation)
MISHIMAX uses wood chips to ferment and decompose food scraps and other organic waste, reducing volume by 90%. The residue produced can be used as fertilizer. The MISHIMAX system reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 60% compared to incineration, making waste disposal more environmentally friendly.

Entech Pollutech ASIA is an international exhibition bringing together technologies for environmental maintenance, management, and pollution control from around the world. This year, the event will be held concurrently with Thai Water EXPO and ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week. Thai Water EXPO features water environment technologies, while ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week is one of the largest exhibitions for renewable energy technologies in Southeast Asia.
